The Rank Foundation is a grant-giving charitable trust, restricted to causes in the UK, approved by the Charity Commission and other regulators.

Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution (SSEPD) established the Resilient Communities Fund to support communities in preparing for future emergency weather events. The fund focuses on projects helping vulnerable or isolated people living in the SSEPD network area. Serve On received £19,980 from the Fund to purchase a new vehicle which will help us access more people, more quickly in the event of an emergency.

UK SAR Volunteer Training fund provides UK charitable search and rescue organisations with support to train volunteers. We were awarded £1,244 for our volunteers to undertake First Person on Scene training.

Awards for All offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for grassroots and community activity that aims to improve life for local people and neighbourhoods. We were awarded £XXX to set up our Voluntary Agency Cell - a specially selected set of equipment that acts as a self-sufficient facility during our deployments.

The Virgin Kitesurfing Armada is a unique kitesurfing festival held on Hayling Island, bringing the kitesurfing community together for one fantastic weekend of kiting, music, fundraising and record breaking.  To date we have broken 3 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ and raised over £120,000 for charity.

Department for Transport provide grant funding for charities that operate inland waterway safety boats or inshore lifeboats. The Inshore and inland rescue boat grant scheme 2015/16 awarded Serve On £15,256.80 for new Personal Protection Equipment, trailers and a new boat.

The Prince's Trust supports 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.

In the autumn of 1921 seven sailing enthusiasts met to form the Hayling Island Sailing Club, of which the first Hon. Secretary, Mr R. C. E. McKilliam, was a member, the other six being Mr Simpkins, (the first commodore), Mrs Nixon, Dr Knight, and Messrs Baker, Logan and Dawe.
