Our intrepid team joined the Emergency Services for the annual 999 event organised by Hayling Island Community First Responders.

The main demonstration was a mock hostile takeover of the Hayling Ferry, with police intervention and firing from the Fort Cumberland Guards, followed by casualty extraction by the Lifeboat and the Coastguard Helicopter after an 'explosion' on the ferry.

Serve On was tasked with managing casualties brought ashore by the Portsmouth Lifeboat, performing CPR before handing over to the Ambulance Service.

During the event our guys also did a display of some tethered swimming from the beach and were tasked with managing crowd control while the cannon was being fired.
