It was another busy weekend for Serve On volunteers as they helped the smooth-running of two big local events.
Friday and Saturday saw them providing safety cover - and occasionally taking cover from the rain - at the Firsdown Music Festival:.
The music was terrific. Craig's dancing less so, or maybe that was just him dodging raindrops.
There are more FirsFest photos below (though not of Craig dancing).
Sunday saw the team back at HQ at Salisbury Fire Station, providing safety cover, and organising the baggage storage, for runners and walkers taking part in the annual 5-4-3-2-1 trail event in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.
Great work, as usual, by Kim, Nicky, Becky, Wendy and Craig to assist Ludo and the guys from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Many of the runners were extremely complimentary about the organisation of the whole event, Ludo.
Martin managed to dodge most of the work by doing the 10k walk instead, in SAR kit, though not in the water rescue gear he thought might be needed having looked at the weather forecast.
Serve On volunteers train to be able to respond to disasters abroad and at home in times of need, and in the meantime help out in their community.
