Fair Play

Packed crowds gathered for the 33rd annual Country Fair at Frampton on Severn, Gloucestershire, and Serve On’s K9 team was there to add to their entertainment and enlightenment.

The team put on an impressive display of their search dogs’ skills in the main show ring.

More than 14,000 visitors attended the show, so it was a great opportunity for the team to show-off what they can do, and to spread the word about our charity.

Award-winning conservationist Sacha Dench was the star attraction, flying in to the showground on the paramotor she used to film the migration of endangered Bewick swans which fly in for winter every year at the nearby Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

But our search dogs gave a good account of themselves too.

The fair, which started in 1986, is a non profit making event that supports charities and good causes relating to the countryside and local area, so was the perfect venue for a display by our ‘doggers’.

This coming weekend they will have a whole new audience as they demonstrate their capabilities to Gloucestershire Police in support of their open day.
