Nick served in the Royal Air Force for 13 years as a Tornado F3 navigator and Qualified Weapons Instructor, including operational service in the UK, Iraq and Afghanistan. On realising that the future for navigators was somewhat limited with the introduction of UAVs and the procurement of single seat replacements for Tornado, Nick left the RAF and joined Accenture as a management consultant.
Nick is now a Partner with Q5, a specialist organisation design and strategy consultancy based in Westminster, London. He is looking forward to bringing his combined skillset from his time in the RAF and as a consultant to bear in supporting the operations and growth of ServeOn.

With years of operational experience with the International Response Team, he is an invaluable source of advise and guidance for Serve On.
Abbas joined the charity in 2011 as a trainee. He served the two-year training period along with the rest of his cohort (called the “Moo Hunters”) and graduated to operational rescue worker in 2013. Since becoming operational Abbas has deployed with ServeOn to earthquakes, floods and hurricanes including the Nepal quake in 2015 and Hurricane Irma in 2017.
Abbas was unanimously voted as the Members Trustee of ServeOn in 2016 and became a full trustee in 2017. Abbas is the only trustee who is operational and deployable.
Professionally Abbas is a partner of the IT consultancy Agilicist, where he focuses on helping large companies scale their Agile methodologies. Specialising in the Financial and Gambling industries.
When he gets time Abbas also offers his IT services to other smaller social welfare charities.
When asked why Abbas enjoys charity work, he said it’s the synchronicity of being in a position in his life where he can give his time to help the wider community, along with being part of something larger and more important than his own life.
In his spare time Abbas is a keen – if somewhat ungainly – footballer and, to his detriment, a huge Everton FC supporter. His party trick is that he can teach anyone to juggle in in one hour!
