I am training for the International Response Team at Serve On because I feel a deep responsibility to step up and help when people are facing the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives.

As an emergency responder, I have seen first-hand how much it matters when someone is there when needed. This doesn’t always mean specific skills, but calmness, reassurance, and the willingness to step in go a long way. I hope training with Serve On will help me take this further and learn the skills and techniques to eventually be able to help those who may have lost everything in a crisis situation.

What drives me to take on IRT training is the willingness to improve myself to support the team in helping people and giving them hope when they need it most.
